Accountancy Europe CEO invited at the European Parliament’s ECON Committee hearing 3 May 2017

Accountancy Europe CEO, Olivier Boutellis-Taft, was invited on 3 May 2017 to the public hearing on the Common Consolidated Corporate Tax Base (CCCTB), organised by the European Parliament’s Committee on Economic and Monetary Affairs (ECON).

Olivier acknowledged the benefits of the CCCTB as a tool to reduce the tax avoidance and to help SMEs thrive, but also the challenges this might represent for the member states for whom tax competitiveness is a cornerstone of their economy (see his intervention starting 15:33:10 and the speech below).
