The FEE Public Sector Committee met on 25 May 2005 in Poitiers (France) on the occasion of the 10th Biennial CIGAR Conference. A joint meeting was held to discuss cooperation and projects of mutual interest. The Consultative International Governmental Accountancy Research (CIGAR) is a network of scholars interested in cross-national aspects of public sector budgeting, accounting, financial reporting and auditing. The network was established to promote cooperation between scholars of different countries working in the same field.
