The European Commission is continuing the discussion within the Accounting Regulatory Committee and Auditing Regulatory Committee on the subject of possible simplification proposals for SMEs. This discussion has given rise to a number of issues which were not addressed in the FEE position paper of 21 March or not in a sufficient level of detail.
