The federation shares views with European Commission on financial services legislation

 

In this letter, the federation of European accountants shares its comments on the European Commission’s Call for Evidence on EU Regulatory Framework for Financial Services. The federation welcomes the Commission’s decision to assess the cumulative impact of the EU regulatory package on financial services introduced over the last six years. The response provides some evidence and flags the profession’s concerns and views on the impact of legislative requirements in the fields of auditing, accounting, financial reporting, and tax.
