This article by FEE Member Body CPA Ireland highlights how the Federation sees the future of audit and assurance in relation to stakeholders’ needs, innovation through technology advancement, and education.

The audit profession needs to push itself to think about its future. External auditors are currently the primary providers of assurance, but this might not remain the case in the future. The profession has to anticipate a reassessment of its role.”
